Infant Massage Instruction for Families and Caregivers
Infant Massage is for parents and caregivers to learn massage techniques that helps you connect with your babies. This practice creates a deep bond, relaxes the baby, and supports the nervous system. Infant massage creates a healthy, lasting attachment between parent and child. It reduces stress levels and helps parents learn to read their baby's expressions and emotions. As children grow into the toddler, grade school and even teen phases, parents can offer leg massages after soccer games as the child grows to help them relax. We create a comfortable environment for the parent and child during the program. We ask permission to begin massaging the baby and teach parents how to massage the limbs, belly, chest, face, and back. We also demonstrate playful routines that support digestion.
